Edinburgh-based Insurepair expands to new Morningside headquarters

INSUREPAIR, an Edinburgh-based insurance reinstatement contractor, has expanded to a new and larger office in response to growing demand.

The company’s new headquarters, situated in the prestigious Morningside area, doubles the space of their previous operations centre in Abbeyhill.

This marks a significant milestone for the business, after being based there for 18 years.

Lettering in the window reads "The complete all trades company" and a list of services. A cartoon figure wearing a helmet and hi-vis jacket is also visible.

Located on Comiston Place, the office will house the firm’s senior management team, accounts, and claims departments.

It also offers additional space to accommodate contract managers and surveyors, and provides flexibility for staff preferences between office work and remote working.

This move aligns with the company’s strategic expansion, following the recent opening of their first Glasgow office earlier this year.

Richard O’Donnell, managing director of Insurepair said: “Where we were in Abbeyhill was fine, but it became apparent in recent years that due to our growth, we would have to move to larger premises.

“EH10 is our busiest postcode area, and it made sense to be closer to the customer base so we’re on hand to respond even more quickly in the event of an emergency.”

Richard added that the Morningside area, known for its tenement-style and traditional properties, often requires their specialised services for damage from fire, water, storm, and other causes.

He said: “Now being based in the area, we can be even more responsive, which will help reduce the stress factor for people,”

Richard also highlighted the ease with which the public can now engage with the company, allowing Insurepair to prioritise and serve long-time customers more effectively.

This expansion is part of a broader growth phase for Insurepair, reflecting their commitment to enhancing service delivery across Scotland.
