THIS is the moment a supposedly drunken man was viciously beaten with a children’s scooter after he is alleged to have assaulted a stranger.
The bloke came to blows with a member of the public in Camden, North London yesterday after allegedly becoming aggressive with several passersby
The man was confronted by the lone pedestrian who utilised a scooter to savagely batter him to the point of bleeding in a grim beating.
A hard-to-watch video filmed by a nearby resident shows the “drunk” man on the ground already being smacked over and over with the scooter as he tries to wrestle with his opponent.
His attacker does not relent, raining cringeworthy blows down on the man’s head and body with the scooter.
Losing his grip on his opponent, the man stands and bizarrely continues trying to attack the scooter-wielding member of the public.
He is rewarded with several more hard strikes to the face and body for his efforts as his opponent continues beating him while backing away.
The man is visibly bleeding from the back of his head as he continues trying to chase down his assailant in vain.
Running for a second, the member of the public being attacked by the man turns and delivers a brutal strike with the scooter to the side of the chap’s head.
The supposedly intoxicated man is sent reeling by the blow which appears to leave him unconscious as he falls to the floor limp.
He quickly regains some of his senses however and again tries to continue his attack but is beaten back by his opponent and their wheeled weapon.
He suffers several hard blows from the scooter but – almost incredibly – manages to continue his attack.
He keeps trying to punch, kick and wrestle his opponent despite being clearly beaten by the makeshift weapon and its wielder.
Members of the public then finally intervene in the fight attempting to stop the scooter-wielding maniac from inflicting further damage on the allegedly boozed-up bloke.
Pedestrians manage to persuade the scooter holder to walk away from the situation as his opponent is left bleeding and dazed on the floor after receiving a brutal beating from the children’s toy.
People try to offer the man help but he declines, opting instead to stand and gather his senses again.
The footage of the violent struggle was shared to social media this morning with the caption: “This happened yesterday in Camden Town on Food Street. Man was fully drunk, and he attacked on everyone (sic).”
The video has received over 450 likes and more than 120 comments from shocked social media users.
One user said: “The scooter guy was trying to unalive the other guy. Scary.”
Another wrote: “More shocking that not one person attempted to help out.”
A third replied: “That will be sore in the morning.”
Another commented: “London is a crime-ridden dump.”
A fifth added: “Should have pushed him into the canal to sober him up.”
