Latest example of lawless London sees dopey thieves ram car through ice cream parlour door in bold robbery attempt – before being forced to leave empty-handed

ROBBERS have been caught on camera ramming a car through the front of an ice cream parlour in a bold attempt to rob the business.

The incident unfolded in the early hours of Tuesday at La Dolce Vita, an ice cream parlour in Ruislip, North West London, and is the third of its type in the area in the space of a week.

Criminals used a car to smash their way into the front of the desert parlour before storming into the building and desperately looking for items to steal.

According to reports though, no cash was left on the premises overnight, so the bold thieves were thankfully forced to leave empty-handed.

Shocking video footage of the incident captured on the store’s CCTV shows the robbers repeatedly ramming their car into the front of the business.

The car does extensive damage to the front of the shop with windows smashing and door frames buckling.

After ramming the building twice, the robbers reverse onto the road and one of them jumps from the passenger seat.

Rushing to the door of the business he kicks it hard, and the damaged doorway gives out, collapsing into the store.

The thief, clad in a grey top and black trousers, with his face covered, leans over the counter to the tills and checks if there is cash worth stealing.

Disappointed to find nothing of value, he quickly turns tail and makes his getaway, running back out of the shop and getting into the car.

The car then speeds off down the street and out of sight of the cameras as the robbers make their escape.

The footage was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: “A Ruislip ice cream parlour has been ram-raided in the third incident of this type within the space of a week.”

The post has since received over 150 likes and more than 75 comments from social media users.
