THE Little Car Company has announced its rebranding as Hedley Studios, citing the move as a step in its journey of creating iconic, “driveable artworks”.
This strategic repositioning reflects the company’s dedication to redefining the concept of collectible cars, honouring them as highly coveted pieces of art.
Based in Bicester, Hedley Studios aims to elevate legendary cars into collectible and driveable works of art, hand-built in the UK by highly skilled artisans.
The company has partnered with world-renowned brands including Bugatti, Bentley, Ferrari, Aston Martin and EON Productions, which produces the James Bond film franchise.
The company says this rebrand clarifies its diversification and growth, with the decision to rename the company Hedley Studios honouring Ben Hedley, the founder, CEO, and driving force behind the company.
The business says the change was also motivated by extensive client and audience research, and a strong alignment with brands that carry the legacy of their founders.
Extensive research into luxury brands, both inside and outside of the automotive industry, found that many proudly carry the names of their founders.
As it expands globally, the company says it has become crucial to establish a clear brand icon that resonates across different languages, creating a distinctive visual identity.
It has adopted a new logo, known as the Hedley Hallmark, which takes on a clean monogram-style icon.
Ben Hedley, founder and CEO of Hedley Studios, said: “Rebranding as Hedley Studios marks a significant and exciting milestone in our journey as a luxury brand, and a personal journey that I’m incredibly proud of.
“This evolution not only honours our heritage, but also propels us into a future where we continue to blend art with automotive excellence.
“As the company has grown and matured, so has the understanding of our clientele, and the way that they perceive our brand and use our products.
“With many of our pieces on permanent static display as cherished collector items, they are still fully functional and driveable, embodying the perfect blend of art and automotive excellence for those who appreciate the thrill of driving.
“Over the past three years, delivering over 450 vehicles to clients in more than 50 countries has been testament to the dedication and craftsmanship of our artisans, solidifying our status as a global luxury brand.
“We are excited to carry forward our legacy, creating timeless, driveable artworks that inspire and delight collectors worldwide.”
Under the new name, Hedley Studios will continue to build on and grow its acclaimed Icons series.
This includes the Bugatti Baby II Series, the Ferrari Testa Rossa J Series, Bentley Blower Jnr Series and the Aston Martin DB5 Junior Collection.
