Dopey Londoner hilariously returns to parked car only to find entire food festival has been set up around it

A DOPEY motorist who left his car parked in London overnight was shocked when he returned the next day to find the vehicle blocked in by an entire food festival.

The man had left his car in Shoreditch, Hackney and returned to collect it on Saturday morning but realised he would be facing a bit of a headache to get it out.

The bloke’s found his black Range Rover completely blocked in as Shoreditch’s Urban Food Festival set up stall around his parking space, leaving him stranded.

Video footage shot by the motorist shows the moment he discovered his car had been blocked in.

Returning to the car park where he left the vehicle the man narrates: “Tell me how I parked my car in a car park in London last night, and it’s in the middle of a f***ing food festival.”

He flips the camera as he says this to show the car park filled with benches and food trucks lined up, end to end.

His car can be seen at the back of the car park with benches surrounding it, completely blocking it in the space.

The motorist lets out a little chuckle as he says: “Oh my days, don’t know how I’m going to get out of here, but we’ll make it work somehow.”

The man then shows an image of one of the organisers of the festival moving benches and chairs to make way for him.

Eventually finding his way out of the car park, the man saw the funny side of the incident and shared his footage to social media yesterday.

The video was captioned: “Bro left his car in a car park in London, which turned into a food festival overnight.”

It has since received over 2,100 likes and more than 25 comments from social media users left in stitches at the man’s hilarious misfortune.

One user said: “Don’t park in Brick Lane. I’m surprised it wasn’t tolled.”

Another wrote: “At least his Range Rover won’t get pinched.”

A third replied: “Shoreditch High Street food bits. Sure there’s signs up for that not to park overnight Sunday ain’t it?”

Another added: “Yeah course it did, done for clicks.”

A fifth commented: “Don’t park in Shoreditch on a Saturday, especially summertime, they always do that food/drink there.”
