Hilarious moment mischievous Scots steal ladder out from under workmen on roof

THIS is the hilarious moment a pair of mischievous Scots steal a ladder out from under workmen on a roof.

The cheeky prank saw the workmen stranded on the roof of Khyber Pass takeaway on Spital Street in Aberdeen yesterday.

Video captured the moment the two lads ran up and swiped the ladder away from the workmen – who could only watch on as the pair hilariously ran off down the street.

The footage sees two lads dressed in tracksuits run up to the restaurant and lift the ladder from the side of the building.

The two lads grabbed the ladder while the workmen weren't looking.

The workmen watch on, helpless to stop the cheeky pranksters, as someone encourages them shouting: “Go, go.”

The two workmen on the roof can only watch as the “Chuckle brothers” hoist the ladder on their shoulders and make their getaway.

Running off down the street and around the corner with the ladder the cheeky lads are encouraged further by bystanders.

Laughing at the lads’ prank and cheering them on from across the street, the man recording the incident and another member of the public find the whole thing hilarious, cackling as they watch on.

As the lads disappear round the corner with the ladder, one of the blokes watching can be heard saying: “TikTok here we come.”

The workmen however look surprisingly unbothered though, and as they realise there is nothing they can do, simply turn and get back to work.

It’s unclear whether the ladder was returned to the workmen or not with the video ending before the pranksters reappeared.

The footage of the hilarious prank was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: “Have it.”

It has since received over 3,400 likes and more than 35 comments from social media users laughing at the workmen’s expense.

One user said: “Scousers on tour.”

Another wrote: “Not really that funny though, is it? Some people need to grow up.”

A third replied: “It’s the perfect crime.”

Another commented: “The Chuckle brothers are back.”

A fifth added: “Always tie off your ladder.”
