Shocking moment furious Amazon lorry driver launches flask at passing motorist on motorway whilst travelling at 60mph

THIS is the shocking moment a furious Amazon lorry driver throws a flask at another motorist from the window of his cab whilst hurtling down the motorway.

The visibly raging bloke launched the vessel at a passing driver on the M1 motorway just outside Nottingham, Nottinghamshire when the car overtook him.

The Amazon driver threw the metal flask from the window of his truck without slowing down, seeing it narrowly miss the driver’s windscreen and bouncing off down the motorway behind them.

Video footage of the shockingly stupid moment was captured on the overtaking motorist’s dashcam

The truck driver didn't even slow down when he threw the flask.
The truck driver didn’t even slow down when he threw the flask.

It shows the driver accelerating to pass the Amazon lorry, pulling out safely into the middle right-hand lane of the four-lane motorway.

As they come parallel with the large goods vehicle, the driver of the lorry can be seen hanging out of the window and glancing back.

Taking his eyes completely off the road, the driver can be seen holding a large metal flask in his hand as the passing motorist draws near.

Just as the motorist passes, the driver pulls back his arm and throws the flask at the car, but narrowly misses the vehicle.

The flask bounces off the motorway behind the car and quickly falls out of sight of the cameras while the motorist speeds up to escape the enraged Amazon truck driver

The whole incident occurred in a matter of seconds while both vehicles involved maintained a speed of 60mph or more.

The shocking display of dangerous driving from the HGV driver was shared to social media on Sunday with the caption: “Amazon are now offering free flasks.”

The terrifying footage has received several likes and comments from shocked social media users.

One user said: “It was probably labelled ‘fragile.’”

Another wrote: “Now looking for a new job.”

A third added: “Best thing to do is just take his number, report to police and the firm, that’s the easy way.”

Another commented: “Who cares what happened before. Still doesn’t exactly make it acceptable to throw s**t at other traffic [on] a motorway does it.”

Amazon has been contacted for comment.
