Kinloss Golf Club is situated in Forres, renowned for its floral gardens and picturesque historic high street.

The second lot, the 8.56-acre holiday park site, has 16 lodge plots and six glamping pod lots and is on the market at offers over £400,000.

Located northwest of Forres and close to the Moray Coast, the site is 30 miles from Inverness International Airport and within reach of major Scottish tourism hotspots like the North Coast 500 route, the Cairngorms and Loch Ness.

The golf course, closed since 2020 due to development of dwelling houses within the grounds but well maintained, includes sloping fairways and established woodland.

The clubhouse has facilities such as a lounge, bar, kitchen, and changing rooms, with planning consent for residential conversion.

The overall site lies in an elevated position, providing an attractive outlook over the surrounding countryside and good access from the public road.

Jennifer Campbell of chartered surveyors DM Hall said: “This site represents an exciting and rare opportunity for the open market.

“While this property clearly has commercial appeal, one cannot ignore the appeal of a private residential estate. Who doesn’t want their own golf course?
