AN AGGRESSIVE man who threatened to stab a member of the public was floored by one punch in the “most pathetic fight” ever seen.
The two men were filmed arguing and gearing up to fight each other on Glassford Street in Glasgow on Friday.
The incident saw the two men come to blows following their disagreement, with one of them soon hitting the ground and backing off after wildly threatening his opponent with promises of stabbing him.
Footage of the altercation shows the two men arguing outside a casino as buses pass by and members of the public watch on.
One of the combatants, wearing a heavy jacket and carrying a Poundland bag, rushes the other.
His victim steps back and puts his hands up ready to defend himself from the advancing attacker.
When the attacker backs off, the man quickly whips his Rangers top off, going shirtless for the bout and advances, staggering forward in an attempt to intimidate his aggressor.
Now shirtless, he raises his hands, shouting: “Come on then, come on then.”
The attacker, clad in his jacket and carrying his shopping bag, backs down from the man’s advance before issuing threats of his own.
In an attempt to scare his confident opponent, the attacker says: “I’ll stab you the now, I’ll stab you the now. You f***ing bam.”
But the shirtless man isn’t intimidated, brushing off his opponent’s claims and feigns an attack as the man with the bag insists: “Aye I f***ing will.”
He then places his shopping down on the floor and advances on the shirtless man, ready for a fight.
The shirtless man then swings two quickfire punches at him, one of which connects and knocks the man to the floor as a woman screams.
The men then wordlessly agree to wrap the fight up there and then, with the shirtless man calmly walking off from the situation in an anticlimactic ending.
The footage was shared to social media on Friday with the caption: “People make Glasgow.”
