Dramatic moment boxer Derek Chisora is caught on camera headbutting Deliveroo driver

WATCH the dramatic moment boxer Derek Chisora is caught on camera headbutting a Deliveroo driver in public.

The heavyweight star, 40, was captured on video carrying out the vicious assault at a restaurant on Perrin’s Court in Hampstead, North London on Sunday morning.

Chisora and the driver came to blows for an unknown reason as diners and bystanders watched on, before the Zimbabwean-British sportsman delivered a devastating headbutt, sending the deliveryman flying.

Video filmed by somebody sitting nearby at the restaurant, captures the tension brewing between Chisora, wearing a red cap and checked trousers, and the Deliveroo driver.

A shot of the altercation outside a restaurant. Derek Chisora can be seen grabbing the Deliveroo driver, whose bike has fallen to the ground. People can be seen watching.
People could only watch as the altercation escalated

Chisora has one hand clamped on the driver as the two argue, with their shouts unintelligible but expletives being thrown around viciously.

The driver then lunges and starts to tussle with Chisora as an onlooker tries to break the pair apart.

Without warning, Chisora then violently headbutts the driver, who staggers backwards.

Gasps can be heard from the watching crowd, as one woman can be heard saying: “Let’s get out of here.”

Chisora’s hand can still be seen gripping the driver’s arm as he falls to the ground.

The clip was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: “Derek Chisora headbutting a Deliveroo driver in Hampstead yesterday morning.”

It has since been viewed over 6,800 likes and more than 700 comments from users with mixed opinions on the incident.

One said: “Chisora fighting nobodies, well aren’t we shocked.”

A second wrote: “Who starts a street fight with Chisora? Natural selection I guess.”

Another commented: “Loss of boxing licence and conviction for assault?”

A fourth said: “Chisora has always been a violent thug. I’m shocked people still act like he’s some sort of man of the people.”

In 2010, Chisora was found guilty of assaulting his then-girlfriend, but was spared a prison sentence.
