Scot slams TRNSMT attendees over state train carriage was left in on final day of festival

A SCOT has slammed TRNSMT attendees over the state that a train carriage was left in on the journey to the festival.

The anonymous passenger shared their disgust after rowdy festival attendees allegedly trashed the train on their way to the final day of the Glasgow music festival yesterday.

The event saw thousands of festivalgoers descend on the city, most travelling by train, for the three-day event.

It seems one Glasgow commuter has had enough though, revealing the state that public transport in the city was left in, and pointing the finger directly at TRNSMT’s clientele.

The festival goers left the train in a filthy state.

An image of one ScotRail train carriage was snapped and shared by the local who complained about the disgusting state the train was left in.

The photo shows the carriage floor absolutely covered in a sea of discarded litter, with bits of paper, food wrappers and even some empty drinks containers covering the floor.

Dark stains can be seen on the floor of the carriage, surrounding the base of the seats, and a large amount of dust and debris can be seen throughout the whole train.

Commuters sit politely amongst the mess with the windows of the carriage wide open to let fresh air in.

The disgusting scene was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: “TRNSMT festival impact on ScotRail.

“Just look at the mess drunks/neds have left due to TRNSMT.

“Wouldn’t be surprised if trains are a complete state come first thing tomorrow morning or worse, smashed windows.”

The post has since received over 160 likes and more than 70 comments from fuming locals.

One user said: “Just take a s**t on the floor and complete the public discourtesy.”

Another added: “Now let’s see the impact on their profits.”

A third wrote: “This is why I’d ban carpet flooring on trains.”

Another added: “Doesn’t surprise me. Bams getting the blame, let’s be honest though, most mature adults don’t even know how to use a toilet.”

A fifth replied: “Ah is this why my train to work is delayed?”
