A SCOTTISH pupil has managed to achieve three national netball titles in this season across multiple levels.
Harriet Rankin from Strathallan School has been a key player in the school’s netball squads since she started playing in Year 4 (P3).
Previously in the season she helped Perth City Juniors Club with becoming U15 Scottish Youth Champions for the second time in a row.
As the co-captain of Strathallan’s U14 squad, she helped the team through the Scottish Schools Cup undefeated twice and was named player of the match against North Berwick Highschool.
Following this, she took part in the Scottish Youth Cup with Perth & Kinross District Netball in June and completed a trio of victories across District, Club and School levels.
Harriet stated: “I’m thrilled to have played my part, and it’s been fantastic getting to play with the different teams and variations at Club, District, and School levels.
“My goal is to represent Scotland, so training with all my clubs gives me a huge sense of pride and helps me improve.”
Louise Waugh, Head of Netball at Strathallan, said: “I am delighted for Harriet this year. She has worked hard to improve her skills and has maintained calm under pressure.
“She is a fantastic player and is able to play a variety of positions, making her a critical member of our school netball team.
“I look forward to her continued success and hopefully national representation in the future.”
Carol Harvey, Director of Development at Netball Scotland, stated: “Congratulations to Harriet on a fantastic season!
“Her dedication and success highlight the importance of girls engaging in sport, building confidence, and developing essential life skills.”
