MADNESS unfolded on the London Underground as a swarm of England football fans took over a tube train with a rowdy party in wake of the side’s Euros success.
The boisterous scene on the London train was filmed in the aftermath of Wednesday’s game that saw England clinch a last-minute winner over the Netherlands to earn a spot in the final against Spain.
Celebrations lasted long into the night with the impromptu party on the tube quickly turning into a messy affair.
Fans danced, sang and chanted in the train carriage as loud music blared from a speaker creating a chaotic commute for any non-football fans.
Video footage of the party on the train shows dozens of fans filling the carriage, all sporting England flags, football strips and other patriotic symbols.
The large group of mostly men are seen jumping up and down, shouting, chanting and hugging each other as they celebrate their team’s success.
One man with a suitcase sized speaker plays music for the rest of the carriage as the footy fans chant: “Let’s go f***ing mental, let’s go f***ing mental.”
The lads danced and jumped around in excitement with the whole carriage seeming to shake with the force of their combined movements.
The chaotic scene more closely resembled a nightclub than a train carriage with the boisterous fans becoming increasingly animated.
Commuters, clearly not part of the celebration, sit quietly on seats at the side of the carriage, watching on in bewilderment as the fans loudly celebrate.
The footage was shared to social media yesterday alongside a host of England flag emojis in the caption.
The video footage has since received over 9,300 likes and more than 95 comments from social media users.
One user said: “Quality ain’t it, (sic) let’s hope for more of the same on Sunday mate. Come on England.”
Another wrote: “Is this brilliant scenes or is it a bit pathetic in the end? Middle aged men off their t**s jumping around in the tube because of a footy game.”
A third replied: “This is exactly what I needed to see this morning.”
Another commented: “People underestimate the impact the football has on this country. It turns us into the best or worst country on earth.”
A fifth replied: “Lot of fellas here who didn’t show up for work tomorrow.”
