Residential development opportunity in Argyll comes to market

THE residential development site in Dunoon with planning for 16 detached houses has been brought onto the market for offers over £400,000.

The 3.48 acre site on the west side of Bullwood Road has been brought on to the market by chartered surveyors DM Hall.

The development comes with planning permission for 16 homes in the form of eight bungalows and eight two storey houses.

The site sits on a coastal road south of Dunoon and has views eastwards over the Firth of Clyde towards Gourock.

Dunoon is located within the Argyll and Bute region, on the west shore of the upper Firth of Clyde off Scotland’s west coast.

There are regular ferry crossings between Gourock and Dunoon and road access via the A815 and A83 linking the area to Glasgow.

Anthony Zdanowicz, a commercial property associate at DM Hall, said: “We anticipate a high level of interest given the attractive coastal position and the well documented shortage of housing stock on the market.

“The site has the benefit of planning permission for residential development and a scheme of 16 detached dwellings, consisting of eight bungalows and eight two storey houses.”

DM Hall has a network of offices across Scotland and in 2023 expanded into the North of England with the acquisition of Hyde Harrington, firm of Chartered Surveyors based in Carlisle and Kendal
