Passenger aims hilarious expletive-filled rant at taxi driver after shocking near miss on roundabout with her partner’s motor

THIS is the moment a passenger hilariously lashes out at a taxi driver after a dramatic near-miss while her partner was driving.

Stephen Buckley was driving his BMW on Derby Road in Nottingham on Saturday when a motor cut him off at a roundabout before brazenly placing the blame on Stephen with a gesture at the innocent motorist.

Upon realising the offending driver is having a go, Stephen’s partner launches into an expletive-ridden tirade out of the window in return, leaving her husband in stunned silence.

The dramatic moment the Seat swerves in front.

The footage shows Stephen’s car in the middle lane, with traffic slowing as it approaches the oncoming roundabout.

The sat-nav and music are faintly audible the background, whilst a Seat taxi to his right appears to be hesitating slightly in its lane.

His partner can be heard saying: “I don’t know if I trust the Seat. And why is this thing not all the way over?”

All seems normal as the traffic continues to the roundabout, but right as Stephen prepares to come off, the Seat reappears to the right, cutting into his lane to take the same exit.

His partner warns him urgently as Buckley gives a long blast on the horn before swerving to the left and speeding ahead to avoid a collision

She repeats: “I told you I didn’t trust the Seat.”

Buckley then realises the driver is gesturing at him as if he was to blame for the incident, exasperatedly saying: “Are you putting your f***ing hand up at me?”

This prompts his partner to stick her head out of the window and send a slew of expletives in the direction of the Seat driver.

She shouts: “F***ing lane, take the right f***ing lane. You were in the wrong lane.”

There are a few moments of stunned silence before both burst out laughing as the defensive partner apologises to Buckley for her outburst.

He replies: “I love it.”

His partner can’t seem to believe what she has just done, sounding surprised between laughs.

She says: “Sticking my head out of the window, you were in the wrong f***ing lane mate.”

The footage was shared to social media on Sunday with the caption: “This was a close call, so proud of my missus for sticking her head out of the window and not raising her voice at the Seat.”

It has since received over 7,000 likes and more than 200 comments from users keen to share their thoughts on the incident.

One wrote: “I’m here for the passenger princess rage.”

A second agreed: “Your Mrs. is the best, my inner psycho also pops out when this stuff happens.”

Another sarcastically commented: “If only they did something so people knew that the lane was for going right. Maybe some arrows painted on the road might help.”

A fourth claimed: “Stephen had something to prove instead of braking.”

Stephen replied though, explaining: “Yes, proving I know lane discipline. What the Seat did was a BMW move, yet I’m in the BMW.

“Go figure.”
