A DOCTOR has taken to social media with a plea for help after her husband and son’s hilarious prank has left her Tesla farting every time she locks it.
Dr Isabel Welch took to social media on Saturday to share her mortifying motor’s issue thanks to tampering by her beloved family members.
Admitting she didn’t know how to disable it, Isabel demonstrates the problem by sheepishly walking away from her car to the sound of a tremendously loud fart.
In the video, Isabel stands next to the red Tesla and addresses the camera, somewhat disgruntled but still humoured.
She says: “Got a bit of a problem. Every time I walk away from my car and it locks itself, it farts and I don’t know how to turn it off.
“My husband and my son have done this, so if there’s anyone out there who owns a Tesla who knows how to stop it from farting, will you please let me know?”
Isabel then films herself walking away with the car in the background but barely makes it five steps before it emits a long, loud farting noise.
Clearly at her wits’ end having heard it so much, she is reduced to fits of laughter and puts her hand over her mouth as she shakes her head.
In a pleading tone between laughs, she says: “Please someone tell me how to switch this off.”
The video was shared to social media on Saturday with the caption: “First world problem. Suggestions for retaliation please.”
It has since received over 67,000 likes and more than 2,000 comments from tickled users.
One said: “The only Tesla I’ve ever seen with gas as a problem.”
Another commented: “Switch it off? You mean up the volume a bit?”
A third added: “I don’t know how to stop it and I wouldn’t tell you even if I did because that is fantastic.”
Another wrote: “The only reason to buy a Tesla in my opinion.”
A fifth gave their suggestion for revenge, saying: “Time for some glitter vent treatments for the husband and son.”
