A SINGLE malt brand is to put on a show to celebrate whisky and music as part of their visitor centre’s 20th anniversary.
Glen Moray is celebrating 20 years of their visitor centre in Elgin partnering with musician Felipe Schrieberg, who will perform a version of his Fringe show Rhythm and Booze on July 7.
Schrieberg will also be performing and hosting a special whisky and music gig tasting alongside his Rhythm and Booze Project co-founder Paul Archibald on July 6 as part of the birthday celebrations.
Schrieberg said: “So much about enjoying whisky doesn’t just come down to knowing how it was made, or how ‘fancy’ it might be – the context in which you’re drinking it can play just as important a role.
“Music is the ultimate context-creator. Different sounds, tones and frequencies can radically shift the way your brain perceives the world around it, including the whisky you’re smelling and tasting.
“As a result, there’s few greater joys than pairing whiskies and music together.”
As well as the Rhythm and Booze show Glen Moray will be hosting a other tours and events at the centre between on the anniversary weekend between July 6 and July 7.
