A GROUP of Celtic supporters devised a brilliant way of hosting their own hilarious open-top trophy parade around Glasgow – by seizing the upper deck of a tour bus.
The group of fans opted to enjoy a daytrip on one of the City Sightseeing buses in Scotland’s biggest city over the weekend.
The supporters had everything they needed to savour their experience, bringing a replica trophy, flags and pyrotechnics onto the bus with them.
Whilst the bus toured the city, the men headed up to the top deck for their celebrations, hoisting the trophy above their heads and singing celebratory chants.
Video shows the moment that the group are spotted at the city’s Gallowgate with other tourists just enjoying their day on the bus exploring Glasgow.
As the bus climbs up a slight hill a plume of green smoke can be seen following the vehicle before the driver brings it to a stop at a set of traffic lights.
This allows the Celtic fans at the back of the bus to entertain pedestrians who are filming as one man hoists the trophy above his head while others hold up green pyro.
As the fan holds the trophy, he begins to sing: “Come on the Celtic, champions again, ole ole.
“We’re champions again ole, ole, champions again ole ole, champions again, champions again ole ole.”
The bus then pulls away from the traffic lights and continues on, with the fans enjoying their day on the unofficial open-top bus tour.
The hilarious video was shared to social media over the weekend with the caption: “This time on the Gallowgate, fair play lads.”
The post received over 1,500 likes with dozens of comments from Scottish football fans who were quick to offer their views on the hilarious tour.
One said: “Absolutely outstanding.”
Another replied: “Quality.”
A third added: “Bloody hell, that’s a brilliant idea.”
Another commented: “Class bhoys hail hail.”
Celtic celebrated their 54th Scottish title last month and now sit just one behind rivals Rangers with this upcoming season presenting the Hoops with the opportunity to draw level on league honours.
The rivals last sat tied on the same number of league championships almost a century ago in 1928-29 when Rangers won their 17th title to tie Celtic.
