Petty Scotland fan hilariously changes flag outside their house to each of England’s Euros opponents for every match

ONE petty Scotland fan has taken to hilariously flying the flag of each one of England’s Euros opponents outside their home for every match.

The unidentified homeowner – allegedly in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire – began by flying the Saltire ahead of Scotland’s first game against Germany last Friday.

However, following the national side’s 5-1 thumping, the cheeky Scot seems to have subsequently taken to cheering on anyone who faces the Auld Enemy.

Beginning with flying a Serbia flag on Sunday during England’s game against the eastern Europeans, the spiteful footy fan doubled down yesterday by changing it up again, this time for the Danish flag during last night’s match.

The homeowner updates the flag with every England game.

One snap – taken by another local – shows the Serbian flag, also known as the Tricolour, flying proudly outside the home.

This show of support didn’t boost the Serbs on to victory though, with the side being narrowly beat 0-1 by England.

The second photo taken days later shows the familiar red and white of Denmark’s flag, emblazoned with the Nordic cross, rippling in the wind outside the house.

This time, the Scotsman will have been left a little happier as the Danes held the England squad to a 1-1 draw.

The initial snap of the Serbian flag was posted online by a local of the area on Sunday with the caption: “House near me has taken their Scotland flag down and replaced it with a Serbia flag. Alive and well.”

The local then took to social media days later to further applaud the unknown fan’s campaign against the English with the caption: “Flag update. Denmark flag is up.

“Love this person’s dedication.”

The post received over 19,000 likes and more than 85 comments from social media users who were left divided over the move.

One user said: “No Scottish flag, just England’s opponents. This is generational hate that I kind of respect in a weird way.”

Another added: “That’s proper sad that they’re more focused on England than their own country in the same tournament.”

A third wrote: “I’m here for it, following for updates.”

Another commented: “Might be funny this but just shows how weak you are flying another nation’s flag at your own home.”

A fifth replied: “Quality. A dedicated hater, got to respect it.”
