New partnership sees luxury hotel partner with premium whisky brand
A LUXURIOUS new cocktail experience has been unveiled at one of Scotland’s premier five-star hotels, following an exciting partnership with a renowned premium whisky brand.
Wemyss Malts, based in Fife, is now at the heart of a bespoke series of whisky cocktails exclusively served at Fairmont St Andrews.
Boasting a hat-trick of exclusive creations, the cocktails have been expertly crafted by the luxury hotel’s in-house mixologists for guests to sample.
Kirsty Mackinnon, Brand Manager for Wemyss Malts, said: “Every perfect holiday needs a cocktail and those who choose to stay at the Fairmount St Andrews will have three to choose from.
“These are delicious cocktails which capture the unique individual character of each of our malts, offering a truly delicious experience.
“Jadon, Stewart and Olly are mixologists at the top of their game and we’re sure that when guests sample these drinks they won’t be disappointed.”
The hotel is offering three distinctive cocktails, each featuring one of Wemyss Malts’ exceptional whiskies: Peat Chimney, The Hive, and Spice King.
“Peated Not Stirred” is a unique twist on the classic martini, featuring Wemyss’ signature Peat Chimney whisky and created by mixologist Jadon.
For those with a sweet tooth, “Sweeter Than Whisky” combines Wemyss’ The Hive whisky with acid-adjusted honey, lemon juice, and orange curaçao, crafted by mixologist Stewart.
“Sugar and Spice” offers a delightful blend of Wemyss’ Spice King whisky, spiced syrup, pineapple purée, and Supasawa, prepared by mixologist Olly.
