Hilarious moment bumper car is bizarrely spotted cruising down busy London road

THIS is the hilarious moment a motorist is spotted bizarrely cruising down a busy London road in what seemed to be a bumper car.

The bloke was caught on camera using the unique vehicle on the public roads in Bishop’s Stortford, North London

Despite looking more accustomed to the funfair, the tiny vehicle was reported as seemingly being taxed, sporting a valid MOT and even boasting a number plate registered with the DVLA

Video footage of the bizarre little vehicle was captured by another road user following close behind the dodgem as it moved to turn off right.

The strange vehicle is registered, taxed and has an MOT.

Sitting behind two other cars, the tiny vehicle – blatantly standing out amid a sea of vans and SUVs – approaches a right turn.

White and blue in colour, the bumper car sports the traditional rubber bumper around its lower half, as well as the long pole protruding from the rear that would usually provide power for the car from the ceiling overhead.

Bizarrely, the car also has the recognisable yellow and black rear number plate – whose registration actually belongs to a Days Strider MX4 DB mobility scooter.

The motorist recording draws level with the bumper car as it hits the brakes to make the turn.

The angle reveals the driver of the car looking laid back with one hand on the steering wheel as he nonchalantly directs his bizarre vehicle round the bend.

The driver of the tiny bumper car appears laid back and relaxed with one hand on the steering wheel; he nonchalantly directs his bizarre vehicle round the bend.

The video ends as the bumper car disappears around the corner and the motorist recording heads in a different direction.

The hilarious footage was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: “Getting his money’s worth from the funfair.”

The clip received over 220 likes and comments from social media users left in stitches by the little vehicle.

One user said: “Mans got a plate and everything.”

Another added: “That’ll get a good laugh from the local coppers, when they pull that guy over. (Nice creativity though!)”

A third wrote: “I don’t blame him, them places be pure (sic) extortion now!”

Another replied: “I’ve seen him before. That’s in Bishop’s Stortford.”
