WATCH the moment a dopey motorist causes a brutal collision on a roundabout after a last-minute lane change ended in a Range Rover flipping over.
The crash unfolded in Attleborough, Norfolk earlier this month and was caught on camera in its entirety by a watching motorist who was metres away from becoming involved himself.
The driver of a red Mini Countryman attempted to switch lanes at the last second, colliding with a black Range Rover as they did so and sending the latter rolling onto its roof.
Video shows the Mini heading for the second exit of the roundabout – followed by the dashcam car – but is driven by a motorist clearly unsure of where they are heading.
The Range Rover follows close behind on the inside lane, also aiming for the second exit of the roundabout.
Right as the Mini driver reaches the second exit, they decide to change their mind at the last possible moment and veer right.
This brings them right into the path of the larger Range Rover – the driver of which has no time to react, slamming into the Mini on its front right side.
The collision sends the Range veering onto two wheels with the undercarriage fully visible as it rolls off the roundabout, flipping onto its roof.
Meanwhile, the Mini is sent spinning off into the central reservation but maintains its orientation and doesn’t roll.
Meanwhile the Range Rover rolls again as it barrels along the exit off the roundabout, completely out of control.
The motorist behind the wheel of the car with the dash cam can be heard calmly exclaiming: “F***ing hell man.”
The Range Rover eventually rolls to a stop, airbags deployed, roof crushed and bonnet open as it remains unclear whether either driver was injured during the dramatic collision.
The video was shared to social media on Saturday where dozens of users reacted in shock at what they were watching.
One said: “No one follows roundabout rules.”
Another added: “Looks like the Mini was lost, and the Range Rover wasn’t looking”
A third replied: “Range Rover driver needs to open their eyes. The red car was indicating right the whole way.
“Should have seen that and sat back as there’s obvious indecision on where the red driver is going.”
Another commented: “Pure and utter glue pots who do this at roundabouts.”
