THIS is the horrifying moment that a woman records a man as he appears to be gyrating against a stainless-steel slide in a children’s playpark.
The strange incident occurred earlier this week at a play park in Meriden, Birmingham with parents quick to confront the man for his suspicious behaviour.
Despite being approached by a concerned family, the man offers little explanation for his actions before revealing he has a stainless-steel slide at home.
Video taken at the scene shows the concerned mother walking up to the individual who is laying on the children’s equipment.
The horrified and concerned woman asks the man: “What are you doing?”
The man casually lifts his head, explaining: “I’m into slides I can’t help it.”
The woman, now confused by the man’s bizarre behaviour and strange explanation continues her interrogation.
She repeats: “What are you doing?”
The strange individual continues: “I’m just having a buzz.”
The man tries to explain his behaviour, saying: “Aw I know that it’s the only location where you get the stainless-steel slides though init (sic).
“It’s a stainless-steel thing, that’s all it is, it’s a fetish, I’ve had it since I was a kid.”
The shocked woman says: “So it’s a fetish, so you didn’t come to just have a little look at the slides like you said you were.
“There’s a child on that slide and you’ve got a fetish, and you’ve come over and you’ve started touching up the slide in front of kids, do you know how strange that is?”
The man seems unfazed by the reprimand and continues to lay on the slide as children can be heard in the background of the video.
The anonymous man stands up before making a hasty apology and leaving the park whilst receiving more verbal abuse from the concerned parent.
She shouts: “You do stuff like that in your own time, I couldn’t give a s**t if you’ve got a fetish mate right.”
The clip of the man and his bizarre behaviour was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: “Nah wtf is this on my Facebook.”
The shocking post received over 9,100 likes with hundreds of comments from social media users who were disgusted with the man’s actions.
One user joked: “Can’t even rub up a stainless-steel slide nowadays without interrogation, this country has gone to the pits.”
Another added: “A simple and rather polite uppercut would have resolved this situation for the betterment of all in attendance at the children’s park that day.”
A third quipped: “He’s cheating on his piece of stainless steel at home, this must be his piece on the slide.”
And a fourth added: “Please report this to the police. This is a gateway crime and will escalate. He’s definitely going to have history.”
