HOUSE-hunters have been left stunned by a tiny £60,000 studio flat for sale which has been likened to a “corridor”.
The thin studio consists of a kitchen at one end and a mattress on the floor at the other, with house hunters suggesting it is “low” to even call the home a flat.
The property was listed on Rightmove yesterday with house hunters quick to find the paltry offering and share it to social media where it was met with outrage.
The factory conversion in Furnace Hill in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, has been listed by agents Yopa who ask for offers in the region of £60,000.
The property offers a separate bathroom which at least allows the buyer some extra space in their miniscule flat.
Measuring a total of only 21 square meters, the tiny property’s asking price means the buyer will be paying more than £2,500 per square meter of space.

After discovering the property listing one outraged house hunter shared it to social media yesterday with the caption: “Depressing studio for 60k.
“I shouldn’t judge the interior because it’s clearly a rental, but this is low for the landlord and architect to call this a flat.”
The post has since received over 260 likes and more than 115 comments from users quick to vent their disbelief at the listing.
One user said: “Came here to say just that. Truly absolutely f***ing awful. I doubt that a 6ft adult male could extend their arms fully in that space.”
Another added: “Where do they keep their clothing? There is no wall rack or chest of drawers, or bed frame with drawers/space underneath.
“Given there’s no washer, can imagine they’re doing much laundry.”
A third replied: “The sad keyboard on the floor next to the sad mattress on the floor is the icing on the cake, absolutely miserable.”
Another wrote: “How, in 2024, can someone sell this as a space for an actual person to live in? It’s a f***ing corridor.”
