Brazen OAP in death-defying stunt as he rides mobility scooter one-handed along busy dual carriageway

A BRAZEN OAP was spotted in a death-defying stunt as he rode his mobility scooter along a busy dual carriageway without a care in the world.

The old man was spotted yesterday cruising down an unidentified road as cars whizzed past him at breakneck speed

Not caring a jot, the bloke’s actions were caught on camera by one motorist pulled over in the adjacent lay-by, who couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

Video shows the old man making his way down the busy road, one hand on the wheel, at speeds no faster than 10mph.

The OAP appeared to be unfazed by the cars speeding past hm.

Cars race past the elderly gentleman, who completely ignores them and carries on with his dangerous driving unfazed.

Dressed in a navy jacket, grey trousers and blue cap, the old man rides past the parked motor without a glance.

Focused on his driving, the OAP doesn’t once look up from the road and ignores the clear dangers around him.

Multiple cars are forced to move over into the fast lane to avoid the slow-moving scooter as they pass their bizarre fellow road user.

The old man clearly cares little for the danger he is creating for himself and others as he boldly carries on his journey alongside cars reaching upwards of 60mph.

The man recording the bizarre incident can be heard simply concluding, “What the f**k”, in shock as the old man passes him by.

The footage of the bold man’s excursion was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: “No words.”

The footage has gained over 650 likes and more than 230 comments from social media users cracking jokes about the dangerous driver.

One user said: “One handed driving, he’s just showing off to the chicks in the lay-by.”

Another warned: “They need to start telling mobility scooter users you can’t do this. See so many.”

A third replied: “Reach pension age and you get the right to automatically become a member of the ‘I can do what I want, when I want, and where I want’ club.”

Another added: “Surely one of those cars could have pulled up and followed behind with their hazards on.”
