Motorist leaves Brits in stitches with brutal put-down of fuming woman that was forced to reverse for him

SOCIAL media has been left in stitches by a motorist’s brutal put down of a woman who shouted at him after she was forced to reverse.

Martin Fowler was in his vehicle yesterday morning when he met the woman on the road, where she was forced to reverse to let him pass.

Pulling alongside her, Martin was met with the irate woman who blasted him, claiming that her brother had just drowned.

Presumably hoping to get some pity from her fellow driver, Martin instead delivered a dark comeback, saying it “wasn’t his fault he can’t swim”.

The motorist had a brutal comeback for the road raging lady.

The video shows Martin driving along a single-track country lane with only enough space for one car to pass.

In the footage a blue estate car can be seen through the windshield in front of Martin, being forced to reverse to make room for him to pass.

Martin prepares to pass the woman’s car and winds down his window to have a word with her as they drive past each other.

However, he is met by the visibly enraged woman who appears to be in tears as she bellows at him: “I hope you’re f***ing happy – don’t you dare.”

Martin can’t get a word in otherwise as the red-faced woman continues to shout: “My brother has just drowned, okay?”

Having listened to the furious woman’s tirade, Martin then replies with an insensitive one-liner, saying: “It’s not my fault he can’t swim.”

The woman looks aghast for a second before screeching, “How dare you!”, but Martin chuckles to himself and speeds off before she can say anything else.

Martin shared the road rage incident to social media yesterday, writing: “This is all I need first thing on a morning (sic).”

The clip has since received over 7,300 likes and 3,900 comments from Brits who found Martin’s harsh comeback hilarious.

One user said: “Brutal that lad.”

Another added: “Bravo sir. Well played.”

A third wrote: “Should have worn his armbands.”

Another replied: “A bit brutal but you have a point.”
