However, Binface’s latest bid saw him turn to members of the public for help in raising£10,000 to run in the 2024 mayoral elections in London on Thursday.

Whilst his bid ultimately looks set to fail, as YouGov predict Labour’s Sadiq Khan to be re-elected, Binface took to social media this morning to remind his followers what they could have had.

In a hilarious musical clip that he originally shared when first announcing his election run, Binface had promised cheaper croissants and a renaming of London Bridge.

The hilarious footage shows Count Binface walking through the streets of London as synth pop music plays in the background in a parody of The Real Thing’s 1976 tune You to Me Are Everything.

He dances in front of a row of arcade machines as he begins to sing: “I will bring the price of croissants down for you.

“Rename London Bridge for Phoebe Waller too.”

He then reassures viewers: “I’ll be London’s greatest mayor, your wish is my command.

“But I could use your help to run, I need to raise ten grand.”

The clip cuts to a group of people taking snaps of the Count as he gleefully raises his fist at them.

He continues his ballad: “2024’s an opportunity to show the world the wonders of democracy

The camera then cuts to show photographs of President Putin, Donald Trump and President Xi Jinping side by side.

The Count sings: “Putin, Trump and Xi would throw it all in the abyss but the British system still allows itself to take the p**s.

“You used to think I’m just a clown but then I took Piers Corbyn down, Oh London.

“He then continues his promises should he become mayor: “I’ll fix the bridge at Hammersmith, I’ll help folks on the street. I’ll fit Suella’s limousine with ejector seats.”

He concludes the rendition: So, now you’ve had the test of me.

“Now you’ve had the best of me. Oh London.”Count Binface shared the amusing footage on social media today, writing: You to me are everything, O’ London.”

The post received over 1,400 likes and dozens of comments from Brits left in stitches by the parody tune.

One person wrote: “Can we get this to number one please?”

Another said: “In a parallel universe that there is no Tory (sic), I only vote for you.

“A third commented: “I want this to be my first dance song when I get married.”

A fourth added: “Please win. You are literally the most reputable candidate.”
