SCOTTISH chartered surveyors firm DM Hall officially marked its expansion into the north of England last week after acquiring the Cumbrian practice, Hyde Harrington.
The Wine Bar in Lowther Street, Kendal, and The Halston hotel in Warwick Road, Carlisle, hosted two launch events with the region’s property professionals, on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 April, respectively.
Paul Evans, former Hyde Harrington Director in the Kendal office and now DM Hall Director, said: “We are delighted to celebrate the formal launch of our business as DM Hall and want to spread the word that this is an exciting new era for our firm.
“When we agreed to the acquisition of Hyde Harrington by DM Hall we anticipated the transition, with a new brand identity, might happen over an extended period.
“However, as a result of our enhanced offering to the market, we are welcoming a variety of new commercial agency and valuation opportunities, and in the event, we decided to progress quickly.”
Charles Metcalf, a Director operating from DM Hall’s Kendal office, said: “The acquisition process and transition has been seamless with an immediate integration throughout the business.
