Glasgow crowd leaves popstar Madison Beer in stitches mid-concert with fan’s hilarious exclamation

THIS is the moment that a Glasgow crowd leaves American popstar Madison Beer in stitches with a fan’s hilariously Scottish shout.

The 25-year-old was playing at the O2 Academy in Glasgow over the weekend as part of her The Spinnin Tour.

Whilst performing at the gig, the New York native gave a rendition of her hit Silence Between Songs which includes a challenge for the audience to remain silent when Beer stops singing.

Her Scottish performance left her on the floor of the stage in fits of laughter though after the silence was interrupted and a concertgoer quickly rebuked those who had murmured.

The clip begins with Beer on stage dressed in all black with a graphic of a spinning record on the screen behind her.

The performer then sways from side to side whilst singing the hit as she twists her head towards the crowd in preparation for the challenge to begin.

Beer claps her hands as the music comes to a sudden stop and the crowd falls into silence, hoping to impress their musical guest.

However, a few giddy fans seemingly at the back of the gig can be heard whooping, perhaps accidentally thinking the song has ended.

Another riled fan is quick to address the pair though, hilariously screaming: “Shut the f**k up.”

The quick-witted quip catches Beer off guard as she visibly chuckles before bringing a hand up to her mouth as the rest of the crowd burst out laughing.

As a few seconds pass, it seems that the singer can’t contain herself and drops to one knee in fits of laughter whilst holding her head before taking a seat on the stage.

The songstress was so caught out that she found herself still sitting down laughing even as the music began playing for the remainder of the song.

Beer tries to regain her composure onstage and eventually stands back up to finish the last few lyrics of the song.

The hilarious video was shared on social media on Sunday with the caption: “Think we smashed it to be honest.”

The video received over 42,000 likes with hundreds of comments from concertgoers who were quick to share their views.

One said: “Her reaction is priceless.”

Another added: “I love her reaction, so wholesome and real.”

A third commented: “I love Scotland I can’t lie.”

Another replied: “Please tell me that’s started a trend.”

Beer will next play in Leeds, Yorkshire on Thursday before heading to Liverpool and London.
