A SCOTTISH law firm has added a solicitor with decades of experience to the team.
Martin Burns has joined Inksters Solicitors which services communities all over Scotland.
Mr Burns had over 30 years of experience as a solicitor, spending the first 15 as a sole practitioner for the Bathgate Family Law Practice.
He established this practice where the sole focus was on family law.
Mr Burns as a self-employed consultant for Inksters can be referred for family law matters from the firm’s offices throughout Scotland.
Mr Burns said: “I’m delighted to be joining a modern and dynamic firm like Inksters, and looking forward to the challenge of helping clients all over Scotland on family law matters.”
Whilst the main office is in Glasgow, Inksters has offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Inverness, and more, forming a collaborative umbrella.
Inksters said this model allows sole traders and senior lawyers such as Mr Burns to flourish under the umbrella.
Brian Inkster, CEO of Inksters, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Martin Burns to our team. He is the first of many new consultant solicitors that we expect to join the firm in 2024 as we continue to realise our ambitious expansion plans.
“Family law is a much needed area of the law and we have many clients throughout Scotland that can now benefit from Martin’s expertise.”
