THIS is the shocking moment a car rolls over a man’s head following a violent clash amongst punters outside of a busy boozer.
The incident took place outside The Cock pub in Bartley Green in Birmingham, West Midlands over the weekend and shows a mob of punters attacking a red Volkswagen.
Seemingly attempting to get at the people inside, the car is forced to reverse, ploughing into a pedestrian and seemingly rolling over his head.
Video shows a mob of punters punching and kicking the motor for unknown reasons, repeatedly whacking the passenger side window of the parked car.
The man recording the incident can be heard saying, “Bartley Green for you people” as he watches the violence unfold.
He continues: “Bartley Green for you. What is going on? Look at this.”
The driver of the car suddenly throws their vehicle into reverse and the German-made motor quickly picks up speed, heading straight for an onlooker and the silver car beside him.
The red car then smashes straight into the front of the parked vehicle, whilst simultaneously catching the onlooker who attempts to dive out of the way, sending him sprawling to the ground.
The red car is sent onto its side by the impact, tilting for a moment on two wheels as it rolls straight towards the helpless man.
The car then appears to roll over the poor punter’s head, with a sickening crunching sound heard as the car topples over onto its roof and comes to a stop.
The gathered crowd scream in shock and rush to help the man, who remarkably manages to sit up and roll out of the way as the harrowing scene comes to a close.
It remains unclear what injuries the man who was hit retained.
The footage was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: “Wait for it.”
The clip has since received over 880 likes and dozens of comments from users left reeling at the shocking incident.
One said: “And this is why our car insurance is through the roof.”
Another added: “Boy’s going to need an aspirin and a paracetamol this morning.”
A third replied: “Sounds like your man’s head got crushed.”
Another claimed: “We need new prisons for light and heavy crime. Plus, somewhere to put little scumbag boys that are feral. Also, judges need to cleaned out. Enemies of the state.”
West Midlands Police have been contacted for comment.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police today said: “We’re investigating a disorder in Jiggins Lane, Bartley Green, which happened just after midnight yesterday.
“We understand during the incident a car landed on its roof after colliding with another vehicle. Two women were taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-changing.
“No one else has reported any injuries to us. Officers attended and arrested a woman on suspicion of drink driving and she has been bailed as investigations continue.
“CCTV is being reviewed and door-to-door enquiries are being carried out as we work to establish what happened.”
