Instant car-ma: Moment dopey Uber driver cuts in front of police car and immediately gets pulled over

THIS is the moment a dopey Uber driver is served up a dose of instant car-ma after cutting in front of a police car and immediately getting pulled over for it.

The incident was caught on dashcam by another unnamed motorist yesterday on Ludgate Hill near St Paul’s Cathedral, City of London.

The daft driver was seen brazenly pulling out in front of a squad car from a junction on the left, seemingly unaware of the cops behind him who wasted no time in putting the blue lights on.

The video shows the dashcam-wielding car behind the police vehicle which is travelling up Ludgate Hill behind a bus due for St Paul’s.

The squad car approaches a junction of Ave Maria Lane on the left, in which can be seen the offending Uber and a black London taxi.

As the car nears the turning, the silver Uber suddenly turns out onto the main road, causing the police officer to hit the brakes and slow down.

The dopey motorist appears to not have noticed who they have just cut off, pulling onto the road and carrying on with only a simple flash of their hazard lights to signal ‘thanks’.

However, the police car follows for only a moment before the driver of the police turns their blue lights on to pull over the careless Uber.

The sheepish Uber then pulls up on the side of the road with the police right behind, allowing the filming car to pass as the officer no doubt prepares to get out and address the driver.

The video was posted to social media yesterday with the caption: “Car gets pulled over for driving in front of police in London.”

The clip has since received dozens of likes and comments from users who were quick to chip in with their thoughts.

One user claimed: “Load of people on the road are afraid of these people. Overtake, cut in front, use the horn if they’re taking the piss.”

Another user added: “Glad they’re only focusing on the serious criminals then.”

A third sarcastically added: “Wow I feel so much safer on the roads.”
