A HILARIOUS video shows a festival-goer’s bemused reaction to the bizarre rants of a man outside his tent at 7am.
Billy Foggett was at Boomtown Festival in Winchester, Hampshire earlier this month with friends, where they slept over the course of five nights in tents.
However, upon waking up one morning, the 19-year-old had the unenvied alarm clock of a random punter shouting gibberish to himself – right outside Billy’s tent.
The video begins with the camera pointed at Billy’s face, who chuckles in sheer confusion at the sounds coming from outside his tent.
An unidentified man can be heard shouting: “You’re better than that, tell me to shut the f**k up and I will come back stronger.”
Billy and his pals can then be seen laughing quietly at the ridiculousness of the man’s angry tone and ridiculous outbursts.
The man continues: “I am one of you and all of you combined.”
Fellow festival-goers can then be heard confronting the man outside of Billy’s tent, begging him to be quiet due to the fact that they’ve been up all night.
Billy and his friend can be heard trying to subdue their laughter as the man appears to grunt whilst being berated.
Billy shared the video to social media earlier this month with the caption: “The things you hear at festivals at 7am are unbeatable.”
The clip has since received over 70,000 likes and more than 240 comments from other festival-goers who were similarly left in stitches by the man’s rant.
One user wrote: “He is my new spirit animal, so glad I got to hear that in the flesh.”
Another commented: “No way I heard this exact moment, Temple Valley, no?”
A third said: “Who’s sharing a tent with the Undertaker?”
Another wrote: “Villain arc.”
A fifth joked: “I thought I hallucinated this.”
Speaking today Billy from Oxfordshire said: “The festival was mental; he was shouting for quite a while at 7am just shouting nonsense.
“I thought it was funny as it was just someone off their head and I had to get a video of it.
“I think he was just speaking to himself, I’m not sure what he was saying to be honest, it didn’t really make sense that’s why it was so funny.
“He didn’t wake us up, we woke up a bit before it happened, most people around us were laughing as well, I’d say he was shouting to himself for maybe about five minutes.”
