HARRY Styles fans were left “traumatised” after thousands were left stranded overnight at the popstar’s final concert of his tour.
Styles’ final Love On Tour show took place on Saturday in Reggio Emilia, Italy following 169 shows over two years.
Despite the 29-year-old’s touching conclusion to the tour at the RCF Arena Campovolo, fans were left fuming after public transport issues allegedly left them with no way home.
With approximately 103,000 people in attendance, fans claimed that trains were cancelled, delayed for hours or had prices hiked up extortionately, leaving many stranded and forced to sleep at the arena.
Shocking footage begins with Styles singing Sign of the Times as red fireworks burst out into the sky and the crowd erupts into cheers.
The clip then cuts to show thousands of fans flocking to the exit at the end of the concert.
Large queues can be seen on either side as fans slowly press through while others seem confused in the hubbub.
Music for a Sushi Restaurant can be heard playing as the clip then shows groups of people lying on the grass, wrapped in foil blankets as others can be seen seemingly forced to sleep rough.
Further groups of people can be seen lying in groups on a basketball court with makeshift pillows and blankets, while others can be seen waiting outside Strazione train station.
One fan took to social media on Sunday to share the footage of the shocking scenes, writing:
“Stranded in Reggio Emilia after the final show”.
She added in the comments: “There were trains and buses but not enough for everyone. There were some ‘special trains’, but they got delayed (plus one hour) and they were quite expensive.
“So, people had to wait for the trains that were running in the morning, the first one was around 4:30 in the morning but again, it was too crowded.
“The city of the venue has literally 160,000 inhabitants and the concert had 100k+ people attending.
“Leaving Campovolo after the final show was traumatising.”
The clip has since received over 34,400 likes and more than 300 comments from fans left sharing similar experiences at the concert.
One person wrote: “Finally, someone talks about it. We had to walk to a different town an hour away to try [to] look for a taxi and there were none. It was absolute hell.”
Another said: “It took us four hours to get to our hotel after the show (in Reggio).”
A third commented: “Slept on the grass until 3:30am when the sprinklers [came on] and then moved to the basketball court until we could a train at 6:40am.”
A fourth added: “It was horrible. I was panicking with 20% battery.”
Styles has been on tour since November 2021, where he has performed an incredible 169 shows to millions of fans, globetrotting all around the world.
He is now thought to be taking a break following Love On Tour‘s conclusion.
