A HILARIOUS video shows the moment Harry Styles seemingly spots a lookalike fan who turned up to one of his concerts.
Nancy Mitchell had had enough of people telling her that she looked the spitting image of the pop superstar, and so decided to see if she could get the attention of the man himself for his opinion.
The 24 year-old actress from Bognor Regis, West Sussex attended the 29-year-old’s concert at Wembley Arena in London on Saturday, where she shocked Styles in person.
Video shows Nancy pre-concert, clad in a black t-shirt and jeans, smiling as she holds up a sign, which is penned with: “People think I look like you”.
The song Look at Me by Sanika Skywvker can be heard playing in the background, with Nancy’s facial features undeniably resembling those of Styles.
Attendees can be seen excitedly waiting for Styles’ performance to begin as Nancy stands directly in front of the stage and poses for the camera.
The clip then cuts to Styles, who is standing on stage dressed in black suspenders covered with sparkly red hearts – an ode to his tour, aptly named Love on Tour.
He can then be seen looking directly at Nancy and nodding in approval as he sings.
The clip then continuously cuts to show Styles taking sneaky glimpses at his female look-alike.
Nancy took to social media on Monday to share the video, writing: “He kept coming back. Looked me dead in the eyes multiple times, nodded and gave me the thumbs up.”
The video received over 395,000 likes and more than 650 comments as many users were left in disbelief at the resemblance between Styles and Nancy.
One person wrote: “Just to hold eye contact, I probably would have fainted.
Another said: “It’s a mix between Harry Styles and Taylor Swift.”
A third commented: “It’s Harry’s face and Taylor’s hair, omg.”
Another added: “He literally says ‘you do’ before putting the mic back to his mouth.”
A fifth said: “You could be his sister or cousin or something.”
Speaking to Nancy today, she said: “I got there a little early to try and secure a place near the front because I was lucky enough to have a pod ticket.
“So I ended up waiting for about five hours for him to come on.
“I was on my own, so I managed to make a few friends whilst I was there and took a few pictures with some of my followers which was really cool.
“It was inspired after my followers on here thought it would be a fun idea to make a sign saying ‘people think I look like you’ because a fair few people think we look alike – I don’t really see it personally.
“I think he saw me a few times when I was holding up my sign and it was quite amazing having eye contact with someone as high profile as him. It was such a surreal experience
“I do have fun making the odd Harry-inspired video – we were aiming to get his attention to see if we could get a reaction and I think we achieved it.”
