Scots mum-to-be left living in fear after alleged drug users lay comatose on landing, pee in corridor and bang on her door

A SCOTS mum-to-be has been left living in fear after an alleged spate of terrifying antisocial behaviour right outside her own front door.

Nicole Kennedy had only been in her flat for a matter of weeks last July when she claims she started to notice a string of worrying behaviour in her building.

The 18-year-old carer claims that drug users are sleeping on her landing, urinating outside her doorway and banging on her front door at all hours.

She also claims to have found needles littered around the building alongside puddles of blood and urine.

Nicole from Lochee, Dundee is currently four months pregnant, adding that she is now terrified for her baby as a result of her living situation and has pleaded with the council – who have not responded.

Nicole also claims that her situation has led to two previous miscarriages, as well as anxiety and depression over her fears of leaving her own home.

Despite the shocking living conditions, Nicole claims she has not heard back from the council or antisocial behaviour team.

Terrifying footage shows a shaken Nicole peeking through the keyhole of her front door as an unidentified person, who appears to be high, bangs about in the landing with a sluggish demeanour.

The person looks to be wearing a zipped-up blue hooded jumper, and loudly bangs three times on a door across from Nicole’s home.

They can then be seen walking across the landing and disappearing into a neighbouring flat.

Further footage shows two men lying on the ground outside Nicole’s flat, with one lying in a fetal position with his face hidden by a corner wall.

Meanwhile, another clad in a tracksuit sits next to a bag overflowing with a bottle of gin, a near-smashed phone and minced meat.

Both men appear to be in an inebriated state, having gone unconscious as a result of alleged drug use.

Further images show the email that Nicole sent to the council, where she has detailed the events in the housing association.

Nicole took to social media on Friday to plead for help from locals.

She wrote: “Just wondering if anyone could help me out. I’m currently living in Lochee multis with junkies sleeping on my doorstep and I’m pregnant.

“I’ve contacted the council to try to get rehoused, they are not willing to help me in any way.

“Is there anyone I can contact to try to help with this? I have also emailed the antisocial behaviour team and never heard nothing [sic] back from them.”

The post received over 150 likes, and more than 100 comments from users left appalled at the scene’s happening outside the young mum-to-be’s front door.

Amy Smith commented: “Nicole, this is absolutely disgusting. Get in contact with your local MP, they should be able to hurry the process along.

“A young girl shouldn’t be living anywhere near this, never mind pregnant. Absolutely vile.”

Sam Urquhart said: “Minky b*ds.”

Demi Waterson said: “This is disgusting. Why they put young girls and families in these multis is beyond me.

“These multis should be used for junkies only – keeps them all in the one place. I really hope you get moved asap.”

George Mcmillan wrote: “Keep a kettle near your door, then pour boiling water on them. Surely they’ll no come back.”

Speaking to Nicole today, she said: “I moved in in July last year and I was told by my housing officer that there were minor problems that happen in the multi.

“I was only in the house for a matter of weeks and I witnessed someone injecting their partner on the stairs.

“Ever since then, it’s been escalating – I have had drug users sleeping on my landing, leaving open needles around and urinating.

“They also damaged my dad’s car when he was at my house decorating as he was parked at the front of the multi, due to throwing rubbish out their windows.

“Since moving here, I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety and find it really hard to leave my house as I live alone and am in fear of walking down the multi due to this.

“I got one of my friend’s dogs to look after so I can feel more safe and when I phoned my housing officer to explain what was going on he said it’s not to his concern what the drug users do, it’s his concern I have a dog.

“Since I have stayed here I have also had two miscarriages due to stress which I believe is when I have got drug users shouting through my letterbox and banging on my door.

“I am currently pregnant and am in great worry every day in case something goes wrong in my pregnancy due to everything that happens in here.”
