JK Rowling shares snarky response to SNP fan’s Nicola “Strugeon” poem following former First Minister’s arrest

JK ROWLING has stirred up fans yet again after sharing a snarky response to a poem written by a Scottish National Party (SNP) supporter.

The 57 year-old writer took to social media yesterday, for a reply to a poem written in tribute to Sturgeon, who was arrested earlier in the day in connection with an investigation into SNP finances.

The poem was posted late last night, in response to Sturgeon’s release after seven hours in custody, with the anonymous user sharing their admiration for the former First Minister.

The cringeworthy poem, which is written in the form of an acronym, hilariously incorrectly spells Sturgeon as it reads out “Strugeon”.

The post reads: “My poem to Nicola who must be going through a horrendous time at the hands of the British estate.

“Stay strong, Nicola.”

“N is for holding your nerve.

“S is for your strength under questioning.

“T is for the tenacious you’ve shown.

“R is for the results you’ve achieved.

“U is for the Scottish Unicorn.

“G is for the goons who’ve set up against u.

“E is for the Egalitarian consciousness.

“O is for the onus on them to prove guilt.

“N is for you, Nicola. Our dear leader.”

The post garnered the attention of many as Rowling herself replied it it, sarcastically writing: “I’m not ashamed to admit I shed a tear.”

The tweet received over 11,200 likes and dozens of comments from users left in stitches at the fan’s failed attempt at a tribute.

One person joked: “So happy I read this at sunset, it was beautiful.”

Another said: “Thoughts and prayers with the Strugeon family at this time.”

A third commented: “NSTRUGEON – I lost my little orphan annie decoder ring, what does this stand for?”

A fourth quipped: “Must be ChatGPT.”

Another replied: “These senior citizens be acting like this is Facebook.”
