A HILARIOUS video shows an easyJet’s cabin manager’s side-splitting message to passengers to introduce his crew members.
Abigail West was travelling back to Luton Airport from her holiday to Iceland last Friday when the overhead announcement began to play out.
The 26-year-old was left in stitches though as she tuned in to cabin manager Andy’s cheeky message to waiting travellers.
The video begins as Andy says: “Once we do get going we have a flight time of two hours and thirty minutes but we’re going to try and fill that two hours and thirty minutes with pure pleasure.
“But I can’t possibly do this on my own as I am only a man after all and I have three fantastic – when I say fantastic I mean that in the loosest word – cabin crew to help me.
“At the front, you’ve read about her in the local Luton Gazette, it’s Debs.
“In the middle, you’ve seen her in the Corby Gazette as well, centre stage we have the fabulous Samantha.
“At the back you’ve probably never heard of her because she’s as quiet as a mouse apart from on today’s flight, we’ve got Teagan.
“Now, we are here primarily for your comfort and safety but if you do require anything then just ask one of us.
“Now before we get going to the fabulous destination that is Luton we’re going to go through the safety features of this beautiful airclass A319.
“It will be the only entertainment on board so if we can have everybody’s attention for the next couple of minutes me and the girls will make it worthwhile.”
The passengers can then all be heard laughing as the cabin crew prepare to showcase the safety demonstration.
The video was uploaded to social media on Tuesday with the caption: “He definitely made the flight more…bearable.”
The video has received over 700 likes and dozens of comments from users left tickled by Andy’s delivery.
One user wrote: “Fair play I’d take my headphones out for this.”
Another commented: “Louie Spence?”
A third said: “I’ve flown with Andy a few times – he’s awesome.”
Another wrote: “Hahaha this is great, wish I had him on my flight.”
Speaking today Abigail from Bristol said: “We were flying from beautiful Iceland back to Luton so, as you can imagine, the plane was quite depressed.
“So he cheered everyone up on the way back to ‘fabulous Luton’.
“His name was Andy and he was the cabin manager. He introduced us to his cabin crew Debs, Samantha and Teagan.
“They even got the whole plane to sing happy birthday to this little boy a few seats in front of us halfway through the flight which, again, cheered everyone up.
“And then as we landed he came back on the tannoy system explaining how we’ve sadly come to an end of the fabulous flight and landed in sunny Luton.
“It was a great way to end the holiday, especially as it was an early start to the day so energy needed to be kept up.”
