A SCOTTISH legal firm is eyeing up growth after committing to opening a new 4,500 sq. ft. office in Dundee.
Gilson Gray, the full-service legal firm, will build the new office space in the Tayside region at 2 West Marketgait, Dundee.
The move will bring together multiple teams in one of the city’s business locations, close to the waterfront V&A museum, railway station and Overgate Shopping Centre.
The deal follows a period of rapid growth for Gilson Gray in the city, including the acquisition of Baillie Shepherd in October 2021.
The firm said that the new office represents a “massive statement of intent”, with its teams keen to maximise further opportunities for development and expansion in Dundee and Angus, including potential new acquisitions.
In the two years since it first arrived in the City of Discovery, Gilson Gray has grown its headcount and built up a significant client base.
It also kicked off its expansion into England last year, with the acquisition of Lincoln-based Home Property Lawyers.
