“That’s enough internet for tonight” – Scot captures bizarre moment man leads two adults dressed as dogs around local IKEA

A SCOT has captured the bizarre moment a man leads two others around a local IKEA whilst they are dressed as dogs – complete with wagging tails and collars.

Alan Watson captured the footage whilst visiting the furniture store in Loanhead, Midlothian yesterday with his wife Leigh.

The 41-year-old couldn’t believe his eyes when he noticed three men nosing around the shop’s canteen, with two of them clad in dog masks and wagging tails.

The video shows three people looking around the area by the store’s canteen whilst seemingly chatting amongst each other.

All three appear to be wearing normal clothes – one in a shirt and jacket, and the others in hoodies and casual trousers.

However, whilst one man remains unmasked the other two are wearing bizarre rubber dog masks and collars.

One of the masks is black and white, whilst the other is black with red accents.

Both dog-people also have a matching small tail poking out from their waistline, which appears to be wagging by its own volition.

The two look to be being guided around the shop by the unmasked man and seem to be completely unbothered by the attention they are getting.

Two youngsters walk past the trio as they head further into the shop, with one of the teens doing a double take as they pass him.

As the group continue into the shop, they walk past another trio of people who all seem to glance their way in bemusement as they pass.

A man sat at a table with a child also stares at them, seemingly in disbelief, as they walk away.

The video ends as a smirking woman on her phone appears to make a ‘stop’ gesture with her hands as the red-masked dog approaches her.

Factory supervisor Alan uploaded the video to social media yesterday (SUN) with the caption: “A guy just taking his two dogs a walk in Ikea Edinburgh.”

The post has been viewed by over 10,000 people and has received several comments from bemused social media users.

One user wrote: “And I think that’s enough internet for tonight.”

Another joked: “Right off to bed.”

A third wrote: “This being within a mile of my house has made me uncomfortable. Five bedroom house in Loanhead hitting the market soon.”

Another replied: “What the actual f**k has happened to mankind.”

Speaking today Alan from Livingston, West Lothian said: “I was like ‘why are there two adults dressed as dogs and another guy walking them about?’

“I thought what’s the need? Each to their own, but there are kids in the IKEA canteen.

“I don’t think they were removed but you’ll see in the video some folk had to take a double look as they walked past.

“It’s just a funny story to be honest and not what you usually expect to see.”
