SHOCKING footage shows a Royal Mail worker hurling parcels over a metal barrier and onto the concrete ground outside a post office.
Shocked onlooker Cieran Jebb filmed the driver as he continued to throw several large items into a large pile outside Fulham Delivery Office in London on Monday (14 NOV).
The video shows brown packages being tossed from a Royal Mail van and onto the ground while the driver remains inside the back of the vehicle.
Cieran can then be heard shouting: “Is that my parcel?”
A pile of parcels are already shown laying on the ground underneath the stair area outside the office.
The worker then emerged from the van wearing his red uniform while holding onto a plastic container containing small items.
He then walks around and begins throwing the items from the ground into a metal trolley that is waiting at the side.
Cieran said he was working in the area all week and witnessed around 50% of the workers throwing parcels in the same way.
He has since sent the videos onto Royal Mail but is still awaiting a response.
Speaking today (FRI), Cieran, 22, said: “We were doing some work on some flats overlooking Royal Mail and we noticed a load of parcels on the ground so we kept watching then noticed the guy throwing them out the van.
“I started recording them and once he finished getting the parcel out the van he got a cage and started throwing them into the cage. It didn’t seem to bother him the way he was treating the parcels.
“We kept watching them throughout the week and 50% of the people there were just throwing the parcels out. I’ve sent the videos to Royal Mail on Twitter but they haven’t responded at all to me.”
Royal Mail has been approached for comment.
