AN AIRBNB guest was shocked after turning up to a rental and discovering the odd layout in the bathroom – leaving him not enough space to sit on the toilet.
Video shows the renter walking into a tiled bathroom at an apartment in London on Wednesday to show off the bizarre room.
Footage shows a sink immediately on the left while a separate shower appears to have just been plonked right in the middle of the room – blocking access to the bath.
Just inches from the bizarre shower sits the toilet and a bidet – although it doesn’t seem that there is even enough leg room to sit on the toilet.
To access the bath, renters would have to either walk through the shower and jump right in or squeeze and step around the toilet.
Despite the cramped space, the owner does appear to have slightly thought about safety by adding a fire extinguisher at the side of the loo.
The Airbnb guest’s friend posted the video showcasing the holiday let on Reddit – revealing that the stay was costing his friend £450 for the week.
He said: “Friend’s renting this for the week and can’t fit on the toilet so has to go to another bathroom upstairs.”
Hundreds of viewers have commented on the video after being left baffled by the room.
One social media user said: “Weird thing is there seems to be plenty of space, just a very badly designed bathroom.”
Another wrote: “Is that a fire extinguisher next to the toilet, how hot is the vindaloo in that house?”
A third replied: “This is what makes me laugh about London. Scrimp on space to splash out on luxury, the average person makes do without a bidet and wouldn’t mind an overhead shower.”
A fourth retorted: “Built by the designer of the game Tetris.”
While another said: “That would have been OK if they didn’t put the bloody shower in!”
