RATING: 5/5
JOIN award-winning Fat Rascal Theatre for their updated parody musical, Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch.
What transpired to make Ursula the villainous octo-woman she is today? Find out what really happened all those years ago in Atlantica.
Elliote Williams-N’Dure is the fabulous Ursula, and you do not want to miss the chance to see her perform.
Performing to a sold-out venue, she has the audience in the palm of her hand as she bares all in this “tell-all tale of sex, sorcery and suckers”.
Those who loved The Little Mermaid when they were younger are in for a huge surprise and may never be able to see the film in the same way again. Good luck watching it with the kids!
This dark and delicious musical is aimed at adults and things get very wet indeed. Ariel still pays a big part in the story but not in the way you would expect.
Ursula is framed for a crime and subsequently banished from Atlantica.
Fast forward 20 years later, and an old flame comes a-knocking (George Whitty) who needs her help with his not-so-very-bright daughter who will be taking over the crown soon.
His daughter Ariel has fallen in love with the idea of being up on dry land and being with a human man.
Cue Ursula, who can give Ariel the legs she needs to get up and hopefully learn a lesson or two.
Expect a lot of laughs, filthy jokes, and original songs as you are taken for a wet and wild ride that will shatter your childhood dreams – how unfortunate.
