ChuckleVision star Paul Chuckle shares throwback pic “looking like an 80’s pornstar”

FORMER ChuckleVision star Paul Chuckle has shared a hilarious throwback photo looking like an “80s pornstar”.

The legendary comic shared the image on social media on Thursday while wishing his fans a merry Christmas.

The 74-year-old is shown laying back in bed topless, sporting his thick trademark moustache and thick wiry mullet.

He can be seen gazing into the distance with a duvet cover draped across him from the waist down.

While holding a cigarette he also appears to be nibbling his knuckles in a seductive manner.

Paul – part of the iconic Chuckle Brothers duo alongside late brother Barry – added the image into a Christmas card frame to the delight of his fans.

But social media users were quick to point out that Paul looks like he features in a dated X-rated movie in the image.

Paul shared the image to his Facebook page, writing: “Merry Christmas” alongside a sunglasses emoji and a Santa Claus emoji.

The post has racked up over 1,500 likes and more than 150 comments.

Janice Foxton said: “When did you do porn movies?”

Jonathan Dobson said: “Looks like a 70s porno.”

Phil Buck said: “If this doesn’t shout 80s porno I don’t know what does!“

Mark Cross said: “Is that from the VHS ‘Do me, do you’?”

Ray Brady added: “Ian Rush on a Christmas card, brilliant.”

And Susan Wallace joked: “Where can I watch the porn video, shagavision, shaga shaga vision! Merry Xmas and happy new year from me to you.“

Paul has been in showbiz since 1979, almost always as part of the legendary Chuckle Brothers duo alongside his older brother Barry.

Most famous for their long-running TV series ChuckleVision, which aired from 1987 to 2009, the brothers’ comedy came from the use of slapstick, visual gags and wordplay.

The brothers coined several memorable catchphrases such as “to me, to you” and “oh dear, oh dear” on the show, which ran for 292 episodes.

Although Barry passed away in 2018, Paul has continued to appear on both screen and stage.

Friday marks what would have been Barry’s 77th birthday.

Paul took to Twitter this morning to share a tribute to his brother, posting an image of the two in earlier years, saying: “Christmas Eve, today would have been Barry’s 77th birthday…miss you Baz #Memories.”

Paul has appeared on countless quiz shows for charity – such as Pointless Celebrities and Celebrity Mastermind – and continues to perform on pantomime productions.
