Newlyweds Claire and John Gallacher were cheered on by their wedding party as the hit by singer Gala was played at the Cottiers Theatre in Glasgow last month.
The couple’s parents, bridesmaids and groomsmen were all filmed boogieing to the popular 1997 song as they made their way to the top table.
Tables full of loved ones are shown absolutely loving the quirky move as they clapped hands and danced along while the bride and groom walked in between the tables.
Mother-of-the-bride Joanne McDonald was captured smiling away as she strutted her stuff, before saying to a guest: “I’ve always wanted to do this”.
As the happy couple from Glasgow approach the table ready for their wedding dinner, a Saxophonist is shown following behind and playing along to the song.
Just as the song reaches the chorus, groom John is shown reaching his arms into the air and shouting: “Freed from desire”.
The camera then pans slowly along the bridal table dancing along to the popular tune.
The crowd then chants “Na na na na” along with the music as the entire room bounces to the beat.
At this point, the mother of the bride is shown swinging her hat around in delight before throwing it behind her.
The camera then shows the entire host of wedding guests clapping and dancing along as the video comes to an end.
Wedding videographers Robertson Studio posted the clip onto TikTok two weeks ago, captioned: “Now this is a wedding entrance”.
The video has gained over 300,000 views and over 800 comments from people who loved the entrance and were quick to acknowledge the Scottish spirit at the event.
