Luxury watch display to open to public in Edinburgh

AN EDINBURGH based jewellers is preparing to showcase the world’s most prestigious luxury watch brands with its new watch gallery.

Customers will be able to go to Laings jewllers and browse world famous watch brands such as Rolex, Cartier and OMEGA.

To prepare for the gallery’s installation Laings’ second floor underwent complete refurbishment to be ready to showcase the latest models alongside class styles.

Photo by Laings. The extended display area provides ample space for every touchpoint along the client journey, from introductory conversations and light refreshments, to private one-to-one consultations.

James Crawford, Watch Specialist at Laings, says: “We want to provide the luxury watch experience to everyone who comes through our doors.

Laings is very fortunate to have exclusivity for some of our brands in Edinburgh, including Cartier, and so the watch gallery is about honouring their commitment to us. The new space is inspiring not only for our clients, but for the lucky team that get to work here too.”

The watches will be put on display at the Edinburgh flasgship showroom at 72 George Street which opened in 1978.

Photo by Laings. Clients will be greeted by a red carpet, reminiscent of its original French boutiques. The Cartier store-in-store combines its signature red with the finishing touches of Parisian elegance to create a lasting impression.

After this development Laings plans to expand its Edinburgh presence and enhance the customer experience with a renewed focus on its pre-owned collection

The Cartier collection will be available between 20-29 July and the Rolex collection will be displayed between 14-22 August.

Mr Crawford added: “As soon as clients make their way to the second floor of the showroom and enter the watch gallery, they will be met by the instantly recognisable identity of Rolex.
