Chris O’Brien, Managing Director of Nevis Range, said: “As Nevis Range joins more than 7000 employers across the country who are paying their staff a fair livable wage beyond the government minimum, we are incredibly proud to become an accredited Living Wage employer.

“The last 16 months have been a difficult time for our industry.  As we begin the recovery process, we believe employers who pay their staff fairly in this way can be a driver for recovery and growth for our entire sector.”

The Nevis Range management team states that their most valuable asset for success of operation is their staff who will now receive the living wage as a demonstration of gratitude.

“We have also electrified many of the ski lifts on the hill, and in 2017 we built our very own Hydro Plant that continues to power our Gondola and many other facilities at Nevis Range.”
