Most popular TV shows to apply for have been revealed

NEWLY released research reveals the TV shows attracting the most applicants in the UK, with Love Island proving to be the most popular, followed by First Dates, and The Cube.

The study, conducted by Uswitch, uses Google search data to find out the shows that are attracting the most applications with the summertime sensation, Love Island, coming out on top.

The show consistently sends social media into a frenzy, so it’s no surprise that it’s the show receiving the most applications from hopeful ‘islanders.’

In second-place is another hit dating show, First Dates; hosted by the nation’s favourite Frenchman Fred Sirieix, there’s an average of 22,800 searches for the application form each year, with the lucky applicants getting a blind date in a high-end London restaurant with a paid-for meal.

Perhaps surprisingly, the third most popular dating show to apply for is Channel 4’s Naked Attraction where singletons look for love based on their naked bodies rather than their face.
