Scots video games studios come together to support future talent

Two of Dundee’s biggest video games studios have joined forces to sponsor the next generation of games talent.

Ninja Kiwi Europe and Outplay Entertainment have each contributed £2,500 to support the Abertay Digital Graduate Show (ADGS).

The event will showcase games, tech, computer arts and computing projects produced by students from Abertay University.

Dean of the School of Design and Informatics Professor Gregor White said: “To have two high calibre games studios like Ninja Kiwi Europe and Outplay Entertainment sponsor this year’s show highlights the importance we place on our connections with industry.

“We are sure both our sponsors and the wider public will be wowed with the quality of work exhibited by our students and I look forward to welcoming everyone to the show on the 25th of June.”

David Hamilton, Executive Vice President at Ninja Kiwi added: “We’re delighted to be a gold sponsor of this year’s Abertay Digital Graduate Show.

“It’s really important for us that the games talent of tomorrow is well supported and it’s fantastic to see that the quality of work on display just seems to get better every time ADGS comes around.”

The fully digital show takes place online on the 25th of June.
