THE “leading Scotland-based automotive retail group,” has teamed up with a Scottish Football Association to launch its 2021 Player of the Year Awards.
As the new official car partner of Scotland’s Professional Footballer’s Association (PFA), Peter Vardy will assist in the safe delivery of the trophies to the winners.
The overall winners will be announced on Sunday, May 16, along with the Premiership and Championship Teams of the Year.

“We look forward to help delivering the awards to the players once the winners are revealed.”
Fraser Wishart, Chief Executive of PFA Scotland, said: “At the end of what has been a very challenging season, it feels good to be able to acknowledge and celebrate the players achievements.
“It is disappointing we cannot all be together as normal to honour the winners, but we are really grateful to Peter Vardy for stepping in to help out.
“It is the perfect way to kick-off our partnership and we know the trophies will be in safe hands.
“Being crowned PFA Scotland Player of the Year carries huge prestige for the recipients as it is voted for by their peers, who play against them every week.
“That is why, having taken the difficult decision to cancel last year’s Awards, we wanted to do everything we could to ensure this season’s Awards went ahead in some shape or form.
“To comply with social distancing, we created a fully digital voting form which was sent out via club reps to the players WhatsApp group chats and, as always, voted in great numbers.
“Everyone is looking forward to the winners being revealed.”
With this one-year agreement, Peter Vardy Group will provide deals on vehicles to PFA members and have Peter Vardy branding on the PFA website.
The announcement of its support for PFA Scotland follows the Peter Vardy Group’s sponsorship of Scottish Rugby.
The company is now a Principal Partner and new front of shirt sponsor for the Scotland national team in a four-year deal that starts this summer.
